Gelbvieh has been using

Gelbvieh History
I bought my first Gelbvieh bulls
from Jim Wilson in 1982 to use on my commercial cows. We really liked the
calving ease and the disposition on the first set of calves. We started to
A.I. to Gelbvieh bulls and saving those heifers for replacements. We now
run 140 registered Gelbvieh and Balancer cows. We also partner or take cows for Great River Ranch, Chester, Illinois and Cassel Cattle Co.
of Lincoln,
Nebraska. We now have been selling bulls for over 20 years. Our Open House
& Private Treaty Kickoff Sale is on the first Monday of March. We also sell
about 30 open heifers a year
via private treaty. We appreciate your interest in
our program. If you have any questions just let me know. |
